A tribute to our land: a showcase for traditional Algerian patisserie, highlighting the date, the emblematic fruit of Algeria.
The ‘Sweetness of Dates’ competition is an opportunity for the most talented pastry chefs to showcase their skills and sublimate this emblematic fruit of our region. They will compete in ingenuity to create desserts that are as beautiful as they are tasty, in which the date will be given pride of place. A panel of experts, including some of the greatest names in pastry-making, will award the title of ‘King of the Date’ to the best pastry chef.
