Creative Doughnut Competition

A symbol of conviviality and sweet pleasure, the doughnut spans generations and regions, coming in a thousand and one forms. Soft, crispy, filled, or glazed, it evokes both tradition and creativity.
Through the Creative Donut Contest, Horeca Expo Algeria invites pastry chefs, bakers, and enthusiasts to reinvent this classic treat.

The Pizza Carrée competition features
pizzas revisited in a square format, where
creativity, dough mastery and daring flavor combinations

The Signature Cheesecake Competition pays tribute to
this great pastry classic,
reinterpreted by pastry chefs, artisans
and those with a passion for sweet things.
Each participant must come up with an original
cheesecake, as elegant
visually as it is well-balanced on the palate, playing on
textures, flavours and inspirations.
Under the watchful eye of a jury of pastry professionals

Couscous Competition : Regional Edition

The Couscous Competition – Regional Edition
highlights the culinary wealth of Algeria’s different regions
, through an emblematic dish
that varies from town to town, from
tradition to tradition.
Chefs, restaurateurs and enthusiasts from
all over the country will be pitted against each other in a friendly, gourmet competition
, each defending
the flavours and know-how of his or her region.
On the programme: couscous with vegetables,
meats, fish, sweet and sour, rolled with

HORECA d'Or Competition - Master Chef - The Art of Fish with Salt

The HORECA d’Or competition honours the culinary mastery and creativity of chefs using an ancient and refined technique: cooking with salt. A true symbol of elegance and precision, this method of preparation demands balance, a sense of taste and respect for the product – qualities that distinguish great chefs.
Each participant will have an allotted time to create a culinary creation that combines tradition and innovation. The competition promotes local know-how, the use of quality products and the promotion of Mediterranean gastronomy, in a spirit of sharing and excellence.

 

Haute Couture Chocolate Competition

This prestigious competition showcases the creativity and expertise of
chocolatiers. Inspired by the world of haute
couture, the participants have to create unique

Tiramishow Competition - The Art of Italian Dessert

The Tiramishow competition is a real tribute to one of the world’s most emblematic desserts, showcasing the creativity, technique and elegance of Algerian chefs and pastry chefs.
During the competition, participants are invited to revisit the traditional tiramisu, a symbol of the Italian dolce vita, by adding their own personal touch and culinary identity. Demonstration and Tasting of Olive Oil "Huilerie El Asslia"

The very prestigious “Huilerie El Asslia” holder of the gold medal for olive oil in Dubai, will participate in the SIEL-HORECA Expo 2021 by offering you a Demonstration followed by a tasting of Olive Oil from high quality.

The demonstration and tasting will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Algiers CIC International Conference Center.

The "Maître-Chef Horeca 2021" competition under the theme of "Chef's Couscous revisited"

The SIEL HORECA Expo 2021 is pleased to present to you the “Maître-Chef Horeca 2021” competition which will see the chefs of the most prestigious hotels in Algiers compete against each other, under the theme of “Chef’s Couscous Revisited”, the respective Chefs of  Sheraton Club des Pins, Hayat Regency, Holiday Inn and Sofitel in Algiers, will compete to be elected “Maître-Chef Horeca 2021”

The “Maître-Chef Horeca 2021” competition will be hosted by Chef Messili, 1st ambassador of organic Mediterranean cooking in the USA In 7 different states and Gold medalist at the Universal Expo in Milan, who will also be part of the Jury with of 5 other great chefs of Algerian cuisine.
